Pelindo Promotes Effective Work Culture through 2026 Cost Optimisation Programme

Pelindo has officially commenced the implementation of the 2026 Cost Optimisation Programme (OPTIPI) as an effort to increase cost efficiency within the company’s environment. This programme serves as a collective step towards building a more effective work culture, encouraging prudent budget usage, and ensuring that service quality remains optimally maintained.

Through OPTIPI, efficiency is defined not merely as a cost-cutting measure, but as the optimisation of available resources. With this approach, Pelindo aims to increase productivity and company performance sustainably, while simultaneously creating greater added value for all stakeholders.

In its implementation, OPTIങ്ങള്‍ covers three main categories: cost saving through the reduction of budgeted routine expenses, such as business travel, meetings, electricity consumption, and other operational needs; cost avoidance, which focuses on preventing future costs, including fines and claims; and revenue growth, which is directed towards increasing income through the development of new business opportunities, production increases, and strategic partnerships.
