Pelindo Pangkalbalam adopts Pancasila as foundation of work culture
Pangkalpinang - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Pangkalbalam in Bangka Belitung Province has adopted Pancasila values as the foundation of its work culture to improve services for port users in the region.
General Manager of PT Pelindo (Persero) Regional 2 Pangkalbalam, Achmad Yoga Suryadarma, said following the 2026 Pancasila Day commemoration ceremony in Pangkalpinang on Monday: ‘This Pancasila Day is an opportunity for us to further strengthen our commitment to serving the public wholeheartedly.’
He noted that the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) had chosen the theme ‘Pancasila as the Nation’s Unifier and Foundation of World Peace’ for Pancasila Day 2026, urging all Indonesians to embrace Pancasila as part of daily life.
The five principles of Pancasila — belief in the One and Only God, just and civilised humanity, unity of Indonesia, democracy guided by the wisdom of consensus in representation, and social justice for all — must be integrated into everyday activities to foster global peace, he added.
‘These Pancasila values must permeate every Pelindo employee’s actions when serving the public, driving economic growth and community welfare in the region,’ he said.
He urged all Pelindo staff in Pangkalbalam to consistently apply, internalise, and emulate Pancasila values in daily life: ‘Let us champion a service ethos rooted in Pancasila to deliver the best possible service to Pangkalbalam Port users, as it serves as the gateway to the economy of Bangka Island.’
