Pelindo, together with its subsidiary Pelindo Solusi Digital, has implemented the “Her Impact” programme to commemorate Kartini Day. This empowerment initiative is aimed at strengthening the capacities of women MSME actors to adapt and develop amid the accelerating digital transformation.
The programme is attended by women MSME actors mentored by Pelindo as part of the company’s commitment to promoting women’s economic independence. Through Her Impact, participants are equipped with understanding of utilising digital platforms, marketing communication strategies, and enhanced skills in creating effective creative content as a means to expand business promotion reach.
Group Head of Corporate Secretariat, Ali Sodikin, stated that the Her Impact programme represents Pelindo Group’s commitment to promoting the empowerment of women MSME actors to be more adaptive to technological developments and business competitiveness.
“This programme not only equips women MSMEs with digital skills but also opens broader opportunities for them to develop sustainably. This initiative aligns with Pelindo’s commitment to implementing ESG principles, particularly in the aspects of social empowerment and gender equality,” said Ali, quoted on Wednesday (21/4/2026).
Meanwhile, Director of Commercial and Business Development at Pelindo Solusi Digital, Agus Dharwaman, stated that women play a strategic role in driving economic growth, particularly through their contributions to the micro, small, and medium enterprise sector. According to him, the momentum of Kartini Day serves as a reminder and reinforcement of the company’s commitment to continuously delivering programmes that provide real impact for women’s empowerment across various sectors.
“Digital transformation today is no longer a choice but a necessity. Through Her Impact, we aim to encourage women MSMEs to become increasingly digitally literate, capable of utilising various platforms, and expanding markets to a global level,” he said.
The programme features Endah Ansoerodin, owner of the Sundanese culinary business Dapur Sunda, who shared her experiences in building a business while adapting to digital technological developments. In that session, participants gained insights into the importance of business resilience, innovation, and courage in seizing new opportunities amid changing market behaviours.
Additionally, content creator Malaikha Dayanara was present to deliver material on effective digital content strategies to increase sales and strengthen the brand identity of MSMEs on digital platforms. In this session, participants were provided with practical understanding of how to build more relevant communication with consumers through social media and other digital channels.
