Pelangi Air serves Medan

JAKARTA (JP): Pelangi Air of Malaysia is now serving the Medan to Ipoh in Malaysia route daily, Antara reported yesterday.

A travel agency executive, Syamsir Alamsyah, said in Medan that via Ipoh, travelers could reach Kuala Lumpur by bus in two hours, faster than a four-hour bus trip from Penang to the Malaysian capital.

According Syamsir, Medan residents could now fly to Malaysia via Ipoh and Penang without paying exit tax. (13)
