Pekanbaru's Disdukcapil Earns 'Very Good' Rating from the Ministry of Home Affairs

The assessment is recorded in the Ministry of Home Affairs Decree No. 800.1.5.1-1910 Dukcapil Year 2026 concerning the Results of the Performance Evaluation of the Pratama High Ranking Officials at the Department of Population and Civil Registration in provinces and regencies/cities for the Second Semester of 2025, which was issued in Jakarta on 6 May 2026.

Pekanbaru’s Mayor Agung Nugroho expressed appreciation and thanks to the Ministry of Home Affairs for evaluating the performance of Disdukcapil in the region, including Pekanbaru.

According to Agung, the assessment represents both recognition and motivation for the Pekanbaru City Government to continue improving the quality of civil registration services to the public.

“We would like to thank the Ministry of Home Affairs for the evaluation and assessment that has been carried out. This achievement will certainly be a motivation for us to continue enhancing the quality of public services, particularly in the field of civil administration,” said Agung.

He stressed that achieving a ‘very good’ category does not make the Pekanbaru City Government complacent. On the contrary, the achievement will be used as a momentum for evaluation so that Disdukcapil services become faster, easier, and more responsive to the needs of the community.

“This assessment we will use as a spur and a momentum to continually improve services to the public. We want civil registration services in Pekanbaru to be more optimal and provide convenience for residents,” he added.

As stipulated in the decree, the performance assessment results are used as input in the appointment and dismissal of high-ranking Pratama officials, administrators, and supervisory officials at the provincial or city Disdukcapil.
