Pekanbaru Municipality Disburses Four Income Components for Civil Servants
Pekanbaru City Government has introduced a new step in civil servant welfare policy. For the first time, the municipal government has ensured the disbursement of four income components simultaneously to all civil servants and contract workers (PPPK) in March 2026.
The four benefits disbursed include March salary, February performance allowance (TPP), 13th month salary as Eid holiday allowance, and 13th month performance allowance. With this disbursement, civil servants and contract workers in Pekanbaru City Government receive two salaries and two performance allowances simultaneously during Ramadan.
Mayor Agung Nugroho stated that this policy represents the municipal government’s commitment to maintaining civil servant welfare and boosting work morale ahead of Eid al-Fitr celebrations. He also expressed appreciation to the central government, particularly President Prabowo Subianto, for the national policy on Eid holiday payments and 13th month salaries for state apparatus.
“We express our gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the government’s policy on Eid holiday and 13th month salary payments for the state apparatus. This policy greatly assists employees in welcoming Eid celebrations,” said Agung Nugroho.
According to him, the policy not only impacts civil servant welfare but is also expected to stimulate the local economy, particularly during Ramadan. Agung Nugroho also reminded civil servants to use the additional income wisely, including paying fitrah alms, obligatory alms, and increasing charitable donations during Ramadan.
In an approachable manner, he even invited employees to support the local economy by taking their families to dine at restaurants in the city. “I instruct all civil servants in Pekanbaru City that after receiving their payments this month, take your families to enjoy good meals at restaurants in our city,” Agung said.
He believes this simple measure can help business operators, micro and small enterprises, and restaurants in Pekanbaru benefit from Ramadan’s blessings. Agung hopes this policy not only improves civil servant welfare but also brings happiness to civil servant families and helps stimulate the economy in Pekanbaru during Ramadan.
