Pekanbaru hit by kerosene shortage

PEKANBARU, Riau: A kerosene shortage has hit several areas in
Pekanbaru, leaving local residents in limbo.

The shortage has forced residents to join long queues in
several kerosene depots across the city and has also pushed up
the price of kerosene.

Normally, the price of kerosene is Rp 900 per liter, but since
the shortage, the price has risen to Rp 1,100 per liter. -- JP
