Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq Admits Family-Owned Company Involved in Pekalongan Regency Procurement
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq said a company owned by her family participated in the procurement of goods and services within the Pekalongan Regency government. However, she did not specify which types of procurement were involved.
‘No, I did not participate in the procurement. The company is not mine; I never participated. It is a family company, not mine,’ Fadia said while wearing a KPK custody orange jumpsuit at the Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.
‘I was not subjected to an OTT; I did not have any item taken,’ she added.
She also claimed she was with Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi when the KPK arrested him on Tuesday morning (3 March 2026).
‘And at the time of the arrest, they broke into the house, I was with the Central Java Governor,’ she said.
‘To say, I did not have any OTT, not even a rupiah’s worth, by God there is nothing,’ she added.
Fadia said she met with Ahmad Luthfi to discuss permission to attend the Free Nutritious Meals programme (MBG).
‘No, we discussed permission because I could not attend the MBG event,’ she said.
Fadia will discuss with her legal team to file a pretrial lawsuit in connection with the alleged corruption case she faces.
Earlier, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq along with aides and confidants in Semarang, Central Java, on Tuesday morning (3 March 2026).
‘The parties were secured in the Semarang area, and then this morning the three parties were taken to Jakarta for further examination,’ said KPK Spokesman Budi Prasetyo at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Tuesday.
