Bekasi Regency — The Pejuang Mushola programme once again organised a social action by conducting a cleaning activity at Mushola At-Taqwa, located in RT 001/RW 004, Taman Rahayu Neighbourhood, Setu District, Bekasi Regency. The activity involved volunteers from Artha Graha Peduli as well as volunteers from Electronic City unit who jointly cleaned the interior and surrounding areas of the prayer space.

This communal effort was undertaken as a demonstration of concern for the cleanliness and comfort of the place of worship for the surrounding community. Volunteers cleaned the prayer space floor, ablution facilities, courtyard, and surrounding areas so that congregants could worship more comfortably.

Pejuang Mushola advocate Erdy Nasrul expressed satisfaction at being directly involved in the activity. According to him, this initiative represented a concrete expression of care towards the community’s place of worship.

“We are very happy to be able to help clean Mushola At-Taqwa. Hopefully through this activity the mushola becomes cleaner and more comfortable so that congregants can worship with greater devotion,” said Erdy.

Similar sentiments were expressed by another Pejuang Mushola advocate, Gilang Akbar. He valued the activity as demonstrating the cohesion of the volunteers involved, despite the challenging surrounding environmental conditions.

“We greatly appreciate the team’s cohesion in this cleaning activity. Although the surrounding environmental conditions are quite challenging with the waste mountain in the Bantargebang landfill area creating unpleasant odours, the volunteers’ spirits remained high to complete this activity,” said Gilang.

Meanwhile, Mushola At-Taqwa caretaker Namat Nurdiansyah expressed gratitude and appreciation for the concern of the volunteers who were willing to come and help the prayer space, which is located not far from the waste disposal site.

“We are very grateful and appreciative to Pejuang Mushola, Artha Graha Peduli, and all the volunteers who came to help clean our mushola. This mushola’s location is indeed close to the waste mountain, so this kind of attention is very meaningful for us and the surrounding residents,” said Namat.

Beyond the prayer space cleaning activity, Artha Graha Peduli also distributed free food aid to the caretaker and surrounding residents. This assistance is expected to help ease the basic needs of the community in the area.

At the same time, Artha Graha Peduli together with Electronic City also provided breaking-of-fast meals for the Mushola At-Taqwa congregants, allowing the community to share the iftar meal with a strong sense of unity.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the spirit of mutual cooperation and concern for cleanliness in places of worship can continue to grow within the community.
