Pegadaian West Java Spreads Goodwill, Launches Ramadan Together with Tring Programme
Ramadan is a month full of blessings. During this holy month, PT Pegadaian Regional Office X West Java organised a social initiative titled “Ramadan Together with Tring! by Pegadaian”.
Held at Trans Studio Mall Bandung on Saturday 7 March, Pegadaian distributed financial aid and infrastructure support to 50 children from the Bandung Child-Friendly Shelter (Satuan Pelayanan Griya Ramah Anak Bandung).
The assistance was handed over by Eko Supriyanto, Regional Leader of PT Pegadaian Regional Office X West Java, to Faizar, Supervisor of the Bandung Child-Friendly Shelter, an institution under the auspices of the West Java Provincial Department of Social Services.
The aid provided encompasses various essential needs to support children’s growth and development, including educational infrastructure to encourage learning and health equipment to ensure the children’s health is maintained. Additionally, food packages were distributed to meet nutritional needs during Ramadan.
Eko Supriyanto stated that this activity is not merely a corporate routine during the holy month of Ramadan, but a tangible manifestation of Pegadaian’s presence within the community.
“Through the ‘Ramadan Together with Tring!’ programme, we want to ensure that the joy of Ramadan can be felt by all segments of society, especially children at the Bandung Child-Friendly Shelter. We believe that education and health are the primary foundations for their future. We hope that these educational and health support materials can serve as a spark to inspire the children to continue achieving and pursuing their dreams, despite their limitations,” he emphasised.
The activity proceeded festively with the involvement of children in a series of Tring! by Pegadaian events, designed to strengthen a sense of togetherness whilst providing educational entertainment for participants during a weekend filled with blessings.
