Pegadaian Sweeps Three Gold Awards at Contact Center World Asia Pacific 2026
PT Pegadaian (Persero) has once again achieved international recognition, sweeping three Gold awards at the Contact Center World Asia Pacific 2026 event held in Putrajaya, Malaysia, from 22 to 26 June 2026. Through its Contact Center Department, the state-owned enterprise secured the highest accolades in three categories simultaneously: Best Operations Contact Center, Best Use of Social Media, and Best Self-Service Technology.
Director of Network and Operations at PT Pegadaian, Eka Pebriansyah, stated that this achievement reflects the company’s consistent service transformation journey. “This achievement is not merely about the awards, but a form of recognition that Pegadaian’s service transformation has produced operational standards and customer experiences comparable to the world’s best companies,” he said in a statement on Friday (26/6/2026).
Eka added that Pegadaian’s transformation does not solely focus on digitalisation. The company also places significant emphasis on building an integrated and effective service ecosystem that delivers a consistent experience at every customer interaction point.
The Contact Center World event is an international competition and forum that brings together leading organisations from across the Asia Pacific region. It serves as a platform to showcase best practices in customer service management, digital transformation, and enhancing customer experience.
During the competition, the Best Self-Service Technology material was presented by Pegadaian employee Reggy Nouvan, while the Contact Center Operation category was presented by Afri Yanda. The Best Use of Social Media category was presented jointly by both individuals.
Head of the Service and Contact Center Division at PT Pegadaian, Rinny Amelia Hadjoh, noted that this success is the result of collaboration across various functions within the company to continuously improve service quality. “Pegadaian’s participation in the Contact Center World Asia Pacific 2026 is part of our effort to actualise and measure the service standards we have been building,” she said.
According to Rinny, the award in the Best Operations Contact Center category reflects the strength of the company’s effective and customer-oriented processes and governance. Meanwhile, the Best Use of Social Media title demonstrates the company’s ability to build relevant digital communications. The Best Self-Service Technology award serves as tangible recognition of Pegadaian’s commitment to providing accessible self-service solutions for the public.
Rinny expressed hope that this recognition will motivate the company to continue improving the quality of its interactions and delivering innovations that are increasingly accessible to customers. This achievement also strengthens Pegadaian’s steps in building a modern, relevant, and trustworthy service ecosystem for the people of Indonesia.
