Pegadaian Sends Top Talent for Master's Studies Abroad to Forge Globally Minded Leaders

As a manifestation of its ongoing commitment to developing superior, adaptive, and internationally competitive human resources, PT Pegadaian has officially dispatched seven of its best employees to pursue master’s degrees at various world-leading universities. The send-off marked the commencement of the Internal Scholarship Programme for Master’s Studies Abroad Batch IV Year 2026, held at Pegadaian Tower Jakarta on Friday, 26 June. Through the Pegadaian Global Education & Mastery Scholarship, a human capital investment programme, Pegadaian provides full scholarship support to selected internal talent to gain knowledge and bring home best global business practices. PT Pegadaian Director of Human Capital, Tribuana Tunggadewi, stated that the programme is a strategic step by the company to cultivate future leaders. The international academic experience is expected to broaden perspectives, enrich knowledge, and stimulate innovation to support the increasingly dynamic and complex business transformation of Pegadaian in the future. The seven representatives dispatched in this fourth batch come from various strategic divisions and regional work units, with study focuses aligned with the company’s business development needs, ranging from financial law and information technology to artificial intelligence and environmental management. The employees have been accepted at several world-renowned universities, including Imperial College London in the United Kingdom, the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne in Australia. All awardees underwent a rigorous, transparent, and comprehensive selection process lasting nearly a year, from April 2025 to March 2026.
