Pegadaian Relaunches Interest-Free Loan Programme for the Public: Here's How
As a concrete demonstration of its commitment to strengthening grassroots economics and alleviating the financial burdens of the public, PT Pegadaian has officially relaunched its Interest-Free Conventional Loan and Interest-Free Mu’nah (Shariah) Loan programmes. These initiatives are designed as rapid, straightforward, and affordable funding solutions for both productive micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) needs and urgent daily expenses.
Selfie Dewiyanti, Director of Marketing, Sales, and Product Development at PT Pegadaian, stated that this initiative represents Pegadaian’s strategic role in providing wholehearted service as a financial institution with a strong focus on corporate social responsibility.
“The Interest-Free Loan and Interest-Free Mu’nah programme, also known as Gadai Peduli, is our concrete step to ensure inclusive financial services can reach all segments of society without exception. We understand that rapid liquidity is much needed at present, but often the public is concerned about high capital cost burdens. Through this interest waiver, we want to help stabilise household finances by optimally utilising gold assets or other valuable goods,” Selfie explained.
The programme targets both new customers and inactive customers wishing to resume using Pegadaian’s services. The schemes offered include:
Regular Loan: Interest-free for 60 days.
Daily Loan: Interest-free for 30 days.
Loan Range: Starting from Rp50,000 to Rp2,500,000.
The public can enjoy this special programme until 30 April 2026 under the following provisions:
Available at all Pegadaian outlets throughout Indonesia, including Conventional, Shariah, and Co-location (SenyuM) outlets.
Applicable for one transaction only for new customers or customers who have not conducted any pawn transactions within a specified period (inactive customers).
Prospective customers must bring valid identification with a National Identification Number (NIK) verified by the Civil Registry Office (Dukcapil).
Through the Interest-Free Loan and Interest-Free Mu’nah programme, PT Pegadaian hopes to continue fulfilling its function as both a healthy business entity and a driver of the national economy. Pegadaian is committed to providing safe, trustworthy financial access free from illegal funding traps in pursuit of the broad public’s prosperity.
