Pegadaian Receives Corporate Secretary Champion 2026 Award
PT Pegadaian has achieved the award for Winner of Indonesia Best Corporate Secretary for Governance Excellence 2026 at the Corporate Secretary Champion 2026 event. This award serves as an expression of appreciation for Pegadaian’s efforts in strengthening Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
The award was presented in recognition of the achievements of Pegadaian’s Corporate Secretary department, led by Dwi Hadi Atmaka, in supporting governance reinforcement and building transparent, effective, and constructive corporate communication with stakeholders. The award ceremony was organised by SWA Magazine in Jakarta on Tuesday (1/9/2026).
Dwi Hadi Atmaka stated that this award is a form of recognition for the consistency of all members of Pegadaian’s Corporate Secretary team in performing their strategic roles professionally and innovatively.
“The corporate secretarial function plays a vital role in facilitating cross-stakeholder coordination while ensuring that GCG principles are well-implemented at every operational level,” Dwi said in a written statement on Thursday (3/9/2026).
Dwi Hadi Atmaka noted that this achievement is the result of strengthening the corporate secretarial role and managing close relationships with stakeholders.
“This achievement serves as an incentive for us to continue improving the quality of governance and corporate communication professionally and innovatively,” he said.
“We believe that managing close and transparent relationships with stakeholders is the key to performing the corporate secretarial role and strengthening the company’s reputation,” he added.
The winner selection process involved rigorous selection and assessment by a jury panel from 7–9 July 2026. The assessment covered several criteria, including Compliance, Investor Relations, Government Relations, Media & Public Relations, CSR Programmes, and Crisis Management Handling, which form the foundation of corporate secretarial work. Under the event’s assessment standards, participants achieving a minimum score of 70 passed, with the predicate ‘Good’ for scores of 70–<80, ‘Very Good’ for 80–<90, and ‘Excellent’ for scores ≥90. Pegadaian successfully achieved a ‘Very Good’ rating at the event.
