Pegadaian Praya Supports Construction of New Classrooms in Central Lombok
PT Pegadaian (Persero) Praya Branch has distributed building materials to support the construction of new classrooms at the Insan Tangkas Foundation in Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The assistance is part of Pegadaian’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme, which focuses on improving the quality of education and community empowerment.
Praya Branch Manager Gunaji Agus Wibowo stated that building educational facilities is a crucial form of long-term investment for the future of the younger generation. “Pegadaian is not only oriented towards business services but also has a social responsibility to contribute to the intellectual life of the nation. We hope this material assistance can accelerate the construction of classrooms so that children can learn in better facilities,” he said in a written statement on Tuesday.

In addition to handing over the aid, Pegadaian also provided education to parents regarding the importance of financial literacy and early investment.
