Pegadaian and Pupuk Kaltim Forge Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Growth

PT Pegadaian (Persero) and PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur have united in a strategic move through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cross-industry business synergy at Pegadaian’s head office in Jakarta on Tuesday, 24 June 2026. Carrying the grand theme ‘Synergy to Goldenize Indonesia’, the partnership is designed to strengthen the economic foundations of both parties and will run for a period of three years, until 24 June 2029. The signing ceremony was conducted directly by Pegadaian’s Director of Marketing, Sales and Product Development, Selfie Dewiyanti, alongside Pupuk Kaltim’s Director of Finance and General Affairs, Qomaruzzaman. This collaborative step is based on a shared vision to create a sustainable and future-oriented business ecosystem. By integrating the respective strengths of each corporation, the cooperation is specifically aimed at improving the welfare and financial literacy levels of Pupuk Kaltim employees, as well as building a healthy investment culture to support the national financial inclusion programme being promoted by the government. Selfie Dewiyanti explained that the collaboration is an important part of Pegadaian’s ongoing commitment to expanding the use of safe investment instruments into the national manufacturing and petrochemical sectors. She stated that Pegadaian wants to be present to assist all elements of the workforce in Indonesia to have solid financial resilience through smart and liquid asset management. ‘We warmly welcome this strategic partnership with Pupuk Kaltim as a tangible manifestation of our grand mission to Goldenize Indonesia,’ she said.
