Pefindo EGM appoints new board of directors
PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) announced the appointment of new board members during an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).
Shareholders approved the appointment of Ignatius Girendroheru as President Director and Vera Florida as Director of Compliance and Risk Management.
“With the new board composition, it is hoped that Pefindo’s role as a capital market supporting institution will be further strengthened in maintaining transparency, integrity and stability of the national financial industry through the provision of independent, credible, objective and reliable credit risk opinion information,” said Pefindo Corporate Secretary Andini Puspita Sari in an official statement in Jakarta on Friday.
Ignatius previously served as Pefindo’s Director of Compliance and Risk Management since 2020, while Vera was previously Head of Corporate Rating Division 1 at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Ignatius replaces Irmawati as President Director, while Vera fills the Director of Compliance and Risk Management position vacated by Ignatius.
Accordingly, the Pefindo Board of Directors as of the closing of the EGMS is as follows:
President Director: Ignatius Girendroheru
Rating Director: Hendro Utomo
Director of Compliance and Risk Management: Vera Florida
As of July 2026, Pefindo has rated debt securities and sukuk instruments totalling Rp519.56 trillion, with total outstanding reaching Rp673.74 trillion.
In addition, for corporate ratings, Pefindo has rated 427 companies, including 206 state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries.
Beyond rating activities, as of August 2026 Pefindo has undertaken several new activities that have received approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
These new activities include serving as an external reviewer for green bond and social bond issuance, and as an organiser of investment manager quality assessments and mutual fund credit quality assessments.
