Pecatu Land Corruption Case: Former West Lombok BPN Official Acquitted
Former Head of Section (Kasi) for Control and Dispute Resolution at the West Lombok National Land Agency (BPN), Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria, has been acquitted. She was found not guilty in the corruption case involving the sale of pecatu land in Bagik Polak Village, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
“Yes, that is the verdict (declared not guilty), in accordance with the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP),” said the Public Relations Officer of the Mataram District Court (PN), Kelik Trimargo, to detikBali on Thursday (30/4/2026).
Fitria was found not proven to have committed the criminal act as stipulated in Article 2 paragraph (1) and Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 on Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) first of the Criminal Code.
“Declaring the defendant Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria not proven guilty of committing the criminal act in the primary and subsidiary charges from the public prosecutor,” quoted from the SIPP of PN Mataram.
The panel of judges, chaired by I Made Gede Trisnajaya Susila with members Mukhlassuddin and Irawan Ismail, declared the defendant acquitted. “Releasing the defendant immediately from custody. Restoring the defendant’s rights in all capacities, positions, dignity, and honour,” it stated.
Previously, the prosecutor had requested that the judges sentence the defendant Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria to one year and six months in prison. The prosecutor also demanded a fine of Rp 50 million subsidiary three months.
For information, Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria became a defendant in this case along with two others. They are the Head of Bagik Polak Village, West Lombok, Amir Amraen Putra; and Majli Azhar. The sale of the 3,757 square metre land caused state losses of Rp 958 million.
Meanwhile, Amir Amraen Putra has been found guilty and sentenced to two years in prison and a fine of Rp 50 million subsidiary three months’ imprisonment. Amir was also imposed a restitution payment of Rp 140 million subsidiary six months’ imprisonment.
The defendant Majli Azhar is still undergoing trial proceedings at the witness examination stage.
