PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is optimising the implementation of national one-way traffic engineering as public mobility increases during the peak of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/2026 homecoming flow towards the Eastern Trans Java region.

From H-10 to H-4 (11–17 March 2026), a total of 387,451 vehicles passed eastbound through the Cikampek Main Toll Gate. This figure represents a significant increase of 95.59 per cent compared to normal traffic of 198,098 vehicles.

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, explained that the company, in collaboration with the police, has implemented traffic engineering to anticipate the vehicle surge.

She added that the implementation continues with a local one-way from KM 414 at Kalikangkung Toll Gate to KM 459 on the Semarang-Solo Toll Road since 5:20 PM WIB.

“In addition, to support smooth vehicle flow towards Trans Java, JTT is operating 22 gates and 17 mobile readers at the Cikampek Main Toll Gate,” she said.

According to Ria, the operation of gates and mobile readers is carried out optimally and situationally, adjusting to the dynamics of traffic volume on the ground to ensure smooth transactions and minimise vehicle queues at the toll gates.

Furthermore, she mentioned that service improvements are also supported by a 23 per cent toll discount for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang section, which remains in effect from 12 March to 31 March 2026.

“These service enhancements are also supported by a 23 per cent toll discount for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang section, still in place from 12 March to 31 March 2026, given the traffic surge and high public enthusiasm during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/2026 holiday period. This policy is expected to help distribute traffic and provide direct benefits to road users,” Ria stated.

Meanwhile, the flow of vehicles from the Eastern Trans Java region to Jakarta through the Cikampek Main Toll Gate recorded 172,082 vehicles, a decrease of 11.82 per cent compared to normal traffic of 195,144 vehicles.
