Peak exodus traffic at Merak Port expected two days before Eid
The peak of the homecoming exodus at Merak Port is anticipated to occur two days before Eid (H-2).
According to data from the Merak Command Post during the H-5 Eid period over a 24-hour period, a total of 75,805 passengers crossed from Java to Sumatra via Merak Port, Ciwandan, and BBJ Bojonegara, whilst a total of 17,702 vehicles had crossed during the same timeframe. The peak exodus traffic is predicted to take place on H-2 Eid.
