PDIP Holds Nationwide Technical Training to Strengthen Party Consolidation
JAKARTA — PDIP has commenced a technical briefing and training for provincial, regency, and city-level legislative council members nationwide to strengthen party consolidation.
PDIP Central Leadership Council (DPP) Chairman Djarot Saiful Hidayat, speaking in North Jakarta on Saturday, said the training was divided into six regions for greater efficiency due to thousands of participants. The first region began in Jakarta, followed by Kalimantan, Bali, East Java, and other areas. The final sixth region will be held in Jayapura for all Papua’s legislative council members and KSB (chair, secretary, treasurer) positions.
The training will run from Saturday (30 May) to Sunday (31 May), with today’s sessions focusing on strengthening party values. On Sunday, activities will centre on fostering camaraderie and strong collaboration among DPC and DPD PDIP chairpersons, secretaries, and treasurers.
‘The KSB members will undergo special inbound training to build this bonding,’ Djarot added.
The former Jakarta governor also revealed that PDIP introduced a song titled ‘Bung Karno Bapak Marhaenisme’ during the training. He explained that Marhaenism ideology originated from a small farmer named Marhaen in South Bandung. The ideology was incorporated into the song, he added, as PDIP is a party oriented towards small communities.
‘PDI Perjuangan is built on serving the marhaen people, the small community, the disadvantaged, the oppressed, those impoverished by social and political systems,’ Djarot stated.
Several DPP PDIP officials, including Andreas Hugo Pareira, Ribka Tjiptaning, Wiryanto Sukamdani, Darmadi Durianto, Yoseph Aryo Adhi Dharmo, Yuke Yurike, and Sri Rahayu, attended the event. Over 600 participants from across Indonesia were present.
