PDIP East Java Celebrates Nuzulul Quran by Donating to 500 Orphans and 50 Widows

PDIP East Java Regional Leadership Council (DPD PDIP Jawa Timur) held the Nuzulul Quran commemorations this Ramadan. In the event, PDIP East Java hosted 500 orphans and 50 destitute widows to receive donations.

Said Abdullah, the head of the DPD PDIP East Java, said the charity programme has been consistently carried out by the party every Ramadan, particularly on the occasion of Nuzulul Quran.

“Let us pray together that the DPD PDIP East Java can carry this out every year at every Nuzulul Quran commemoration. At least, God willing, in any occasion, in any faith, we will always place widows and orphans in the honoured position within PDIP Perjuangan,” he said, quoted from detikJatim, Thursday 5 March 2026.

Said described PDIP as a party identified with wong cilik and wanting to celebrate Nuzulul Quran with the community, especially orphans and the dhuafa.

“That we do it because of our ideology, our love, our party’s love as the wong cilik party, PDIP with the wong cilik. Blessing is what we hope to obtain together with the widows and orphans, God willing, we will obtain that blessing,” he said.

The Chair of the Budget Board (Banggar) of the DPR RI hopes PDIP East Java remains consistent in helping the wong cilik, while also delivering policies that are on the side of the people.

“Hopefully this Ramadan won’t be the last for all of us. God willing, we will meet again in the Ramadan month next year. We will pray for long life, a blessed life, and a life blessed by Allah SWT,” he concluded.
