PBB to hold national meeting

YOGYAKARTA: Executives of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) will
regroup here for an annual working meeting from Sept. 15 to Sept.
17, the first gathering since the People's Consultative Assembly
Annual Session last month.

Chairman of PBB's provincial chapter Daru Lalito Wistoro said
on Thursday the event would be opened by the party's chairman
Yusril Ihza Mahendra, who is also minister of justice and human
rights.

A tablig akbar (grand gathering) and a discussion panel will
also be held during the annual meeting. Minister of
Administrative Reforms Ryaas Rasyid, political observer and
Gadjah Mada University rector Ichlasul Amal and scholar Mas'ud
Machfoedz also of Gadjah Mada University are scheduled to speak
in the discussion.

Among the major agendas of the meeting will be the party's
consolidation, recruitment of cadres, and the party's financial
