PB SEMMI: General Listyo Sigit's Leadership Successfully Strengthens Public Trust

Under the leadership of General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the police have succeeded in showing various positive changes that further strengthen public trust. According to Bintang, the various transformation programmes implemented by the police have had a positive impact on the institution’s performance. This is reflected in the increase in public trust and the strengthening synergy between the police and various elements of society, including students and youth organisations. Bintang expressed hope that the 80th anniversary momentum would strengthen the police force’s spirit to continue making improvements, maintaining integrity, and enhancing professionalism in fair law enforcement. “Going forward, we hope the police will become more precise, humane, and accountable, and increasingly loved by the public. The increasingly complex challenges require an adaptive police institution with integrity, capable of maintaining national security stability while upholding the principles of justice and respect for the rights of the people,” he said. The 80th Bhayangkara anniversary is expected to be a momentum to strengthen the commitment of all police ranks to provide the best service to the community while maintaining the public trust that has been built through various reform measures and performance improvements.
