The West Java Provincial Government has launched a new, more practical method for annual motor vehicle tax payments, which can be done entirely through the WhatsApp application without needing to visit a Samsat office. The digital service, effective from 1 May 2026, was developed by the West Java Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) to simplify administrative processes and reduce queues for taxpayers. Through an automated chatbot system, users can check their vehicle tax bills and obtain payment codes directly on their mobile phones. To access the service, users must first save the official WhatsApp number of Bapenda West Java. After that, the process can be followed by adhering to the guidelines sent by the system.
