Paying Market Levies Is Now Easier: Bank Mantap Partners with Kupang City Perumda

KUPANG – PT Bank Mandiri Taspen (Bank Mantap) has entered into a partnership with Perumda Pasar Kota Kupang to promote the digitalisation of levy payments and trader transactions in markets across Kupang City. The collaboration is intended to make transactions easier, safer, more transparent and more efficient.

The partnership was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on the Digitalisation of Levies and Market Trader Transactions in Kupang City, held at the Umera Kofie Meeting Room on Tuesday (15/9/2026).

The event was attended by Rizky Olyvia Nasution, Director of Funding (Retail & Network) at Bank Mandiri Taspen, and Ganda Raymond Tadjo Tallo, Director of Perumda Pasar Kota Kupang, along with officials from both institutions.

Through this partnership, Bank Mandiri Taspen will provide digital banking services to support the transaction management of Perumda Pasar Kota Kupang, one of which is Mantap Cash Management (MCM). Perumda Pasar Kota Kupang will also make use of Virtual Accounts (VA) and QRIS for the payment of fees, service charges and other payment obligations from stall tenants, traders, vendors and market service users.

Rizky Olyvia Nasution, Director of Funding (Retail & Network) at Bank Mandiri Taspen, said the digitalisation is expected to improve transaction convenience for traders whilst supporting more effective and transparent market governance.

“The signing of this cooperation agreement is not merely a ceremony, but a concrete step towards building a more modern, transparent, convenient and inclusive market ecosystem through the use of digital services. We hope that levy payments can be made easily, quickly, safely and in a traceable manner, bringing benefits to the regional government, market managers and, of course, the traders themselves,” Rizky said in her remarks.
