Intellectual property rights certificate has been awarded to the PAUD Mother, Ida Ayu Surya Adnyani Mahayastra, or Dayu Surya. The HKI certificate was obtained after various processes, starting from submission to the Ministry of Law through the Brida Gianyar Regency Intellectual Property Centre.

“Bunda PAUD of Gianyar Regency, Dr. Ida Ayu Surya Adnyani Mahayastra, received the Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) certificate from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Ministry of Law,” said Dayu Surya in her statement on Wednesday (1/4/2026).

Dayu stated that the handing over of the HKI certificate took place at the Ida Dewa Agung Istri Kanya Cultural Hall in Klungkung Regency. The handover was witnessed by Megawati Soekarnoputri, Chair of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Advisory Board.

The HKI certificate validates a personal innovation based on regional innovation data at the early childhood education (PAUD) service institution, the State Child Daycare Garden in Gianyar. That institution is the only government-based State Child Daycare Garden in Bali.

“We present this child daycare garden so that employees, especially those who have migrated and work with their partners, can still carry out their duties calmly without neglecting child care,” said Dayu.

Dayu said that her innovation is expected to help parents balance their roles, while ensuring children receive appropriate attention, supervision, and education for their age. In addition, receiving the HKI certificate serves as motivation to continue improving the quality of services, particularly in supporting working families.

Meanwhile, efforts in development and policies towards a child-friendly regency continue to be pursued by the Gianyar Regency Government, namely by paying attention to the welfare of children and the elderly.

“Receiving this HKI certificate becomes encouragement for us to continue improving the quality of services, so that children remain well cared for and receive proper education,” she said.
