PT Patra Jasa has deployed 53 officers as teachers through its Patra Jasa Mengajar programme to strengthen education quality while supporting the realisation of a competitive Golden Indonesia 2045 generation. President Director of PT Patra Jasa, Ray SM Daulay, said the programme, now in its third year, has been implemented continuously since 2024, after previously being held in Bogor and Bekasi, West Java. “This year, 53 Patra Jasa officers are participating as teachers and facilitators,” Ray said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday. The company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility programme, titled Patra Jasa Mengajar, was held at SD Negeri Menteng Dalam 11 Pagi, South Jakarta. Ray said the social activity is part of Patra Jasa’s 51st anniversary commemoration, seen as a momentum to strengthen the company’s tangible contribution to society through improving education quality. “Materials are delivered through an interactive and participatory approach to create a more enjoyable learning experience while fostering students’ enthusiasm for learning,” Ray said. He added that the programme is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable benefits to society, particularly through education. According to him, the best investment for the future is realised not only through business development but also through improving human resource quality from an early age. “We want to share not only knowledge but also experience, inspiration, and positive values with the younger generation. We believe education is the main foundation in building the nation’s future,” he stressed. In addition to educational activities, PT Patra Jasa also handed over supporting facilities and infrastructure for teaching and learning activities to SD Negeri Menteng Dalam 11 Pagi. The assistance includes active speakers, rubbish bins, a multifunction printer, a misty fan, goal nets, tarpaulins, mats, and stationery for 249 pupils. The aid is expected to support the creation of a more comfortable, healthy, and conducive learning environment, so that the learning process can take place optimally. Through Patra Jasa Mengajar, Patra Jasa continues to strengthen its commitment to creating sustainable social impact through education, while encouraging the active involvement of officers to grow together and provide benefits to society.
