Pathul Bahri Inaugurates Nine Echelon II Officials in Central Lombok; Here Is the List

The Regent of Central Lombok, Lalu Pathul Bahri, has inaugurated nine echelon II officials to fill strategic positions within various Regional Government Organisations (OPD) that have remained vacant for nearly a year. The appointees are predominantly former echelon III officials who have been promoted.

Pathul described today’s inauguration as a historic moment for officials in Central Lombok, noting that the oath-taking ceremony took place during Ramadan. He expressed hope that this occasion would serve as a catalyst for civil servants to dedicate themselves more sincerely to public service.

“Our collective commitment to developing this bureaucracy is indeed the hope of all state apparatus members. We welcome this joyfully during this holy month of Ramadan,” Pathul stated following the inauguration of the nine echelon II officials at the Ballroom of the Central Lombok Regent’s Office on Monday, 16 March 2026.

Pathul noted that the inauguration was crucial because numerous positions had remained unfilled for an extended period and were being temporarily managed by acting officials. He emphasised that the primary task of newly inaugurated OPD heads is not merely to engage in discussion, but to provide concrete solutions to service delivery obstacles faced by the community.

“What is truly important is service delivery. Resolve any obstacles and challenges that exist in each organisation,” he added.

Pathul claimed that the selection of these officials underwent a rigorous process. According to him, the appointment of these positions aligned with a talent management scheme.

“We did not conduct a selection process. We are able to appoint through talent management,” he stated.

Following this inauguration, several positions vacated by the newly appointed officials will temporarily be filled by acting officers. Pathul indicated that the process of filling permanently the vacant positions of secretaries of agencies and division heads would follow in the near future.

Below is the list of echelon II officials from the Central Lombok Government who were inaugurated today:

1. Lalu Helim: Appointed as Head of the Youth and Sports Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Secretary of the Education and Culture Agency)

2. Dr Mamang Bagiansah: Appointed as Head of the Health Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Director of Praya Regional General Hospital)

3. Lalu Muhammad Hatta: Appointed as Head of the Tourism Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Head of the Protocol and Communication Section of the Regional Secretariat)

4. Baiq Murniati: Appointed as Head of the Community Empowerment and Village Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Head of the Government Administration Section of the Regional Secretariat)

5. Kusriadi: Appointed as Head of the Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Secretary of the same agency)

6. Dalilah: Appointed as Head of the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Services Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Head of the Economics, Natural Resources, Infrastructure, and Regional Section at Bappeda/Brida)

7. Hj Damayanti Wiradarma: Appointed as Head of the Transportation Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Secretary of the Inspectorate)

8. Lalu Setiawan: Appointed as Head of the Industry and Trade Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Head of the Economics and Natural Resources Section of the Regional Secretariat)

9. Muji Purwandi: Appointed as Head of the Library and Archives Agency of Central Lombok Regency (previously Secretary of the Youth and Sports Agency)
