Pastrana beats Roga for title

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida (AP): Colombia's Mauricio Pastrana
successfully defended his International Boxing Federation junior
flyweight title with a fourth-round knockout of Indonesia's Anis
Roga Thursday night.

Pastrana wasn't threatened in his first defense of the 108-
pound (49-kilogram) title he won last December.

He used punishing head and body combinations to wear down Roga
until the fight ended at 1:20 of the fourth.

Pastrana's constant attacks led to a knockdown late in the
third, when he scored timely rights to the body, straight lefts
and rights to the head and occasional uppercuts.

Roga (20-4-2) made it to his corner, but Pastrana (18-0, 15
KOs) sensed he had his challenger beaten.
