PASTI Task Force Halts Illegal Investment Activities by CANTVR and YUDIA

The Task Force for the Eradication of Illegal Financial Activities (PASTI) halted the business activities of CANTVR and YUDIA on Thursday, 21 May 2026, amid allegations of fraud. The crackdown was prompted by indications of impersonation of foreign entities and illegal part-time job offers, with the aim of protecting the public from greater financial losses arising from ponzi-style schemes. Information on the crackdown was reported by Bloomberg Technoz.

“PASTI stops the activities of CANTVR and YUDIA and will block access to related apps and/or links (URLs). PASTI will also coordinate with law enforcement for further action,” PASTI said in its report.

Based on investigations, CANTVR is strongly linked to an entity named Monexplora (MEX). The CANTVR platform used the high-profile name Cantor Fitzgerald, a licensed financial services company in the United States and Singapore, to mislead victims through a scheme of fictitious stock investments.

CANTVR’s activities violated regulations by operating in a manner not aligned with the licence issued by the Ministry of Investment and Hilirisasi/BKPM. In addition, the CANTVR and MEX apps and websites were not registered as Electronic System Providers (PSE) with the Ministry of Communications and Digital.

CANTVR’s modus operandi included requesting deposit funds with the lure of tiered profits according to membership level. Members were also forced to pay money for allocation of fictitious IPO shares distributed randomly.

Meanwhile, YUDIA operated a scam framed as a part-time investment in watching Chinese dramas and buying film copyrights. Victims were promised additional daily bonuses and required to recruit new members through a multi-level recruitment system.

Authorities verified that YUDIA operated without subsequent permission from the Ministry of Investment and Hilirisasi/BKPM. The digital platforms they used were also illegal because they were not registered as PSE with the Ministry of Communications and Digital.

PASTI urged the public who believe they have been harmed to report promptly to local law enforcement to expedite case handling.
