PASTI Task Force Blocks CANTVR and YUDIA, Alleged Investment Fraud
Jakarta – The Illegal Financial Activities Eradication Task Force (Satgas Pemberantasan Aktivitas Keuangan Ilegal – Satgas PASTI) has halted business activities suspected of fraud carried out through impersonation or misuse of the name of licensed foreign companies, namely CANTVR. In addition, Satgas PASTI has halted YUDIA’s operations, suspected of carrying out fraud under the pretext of offering part-time jobs and purchasing rights to film rights for Chinese drama films to obtain daily income and additional bonuses.
In a press release received on Thursday, 21 May 2026, Satgas PASTI explained that CANTVR and Monexplora (MEX) are believed to be related entities because the investment offers via the CANTVR platform were obtained from MEX. Based on clarification and verification, CANTVR is found to be conducting business activities not in accordance with the license issued by the Ministry of Investment and Hilirisasi/BKPM. Moreover, the applications and websites used are not registered as Electronic System Operators (PSE) with the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
Meanwhile, MEX reportedly has no legal entity in Indonesia. The applications and websites used are also not registered as PSE.
In practice, users are asked to deposit funds for stock investment activities with promises of benefits and higher profits based on membership level. ‘In addition, CANTVR provides random allocations of fictitious IPO shares to its members. The random allocations require members to pay for the fictitious IPO shares,’ Satgas PASTI stated.
Adapun YUDIA diduga menjalankan penipuan modus investasi melalui skema penyetoran dana deposit, pengerjaan tugas harian berupa menonton film drama China, pembelian hak cipta film drama China, serta perekrutan anggota baru atau member-get-member untuk memperoleh pendapatan harian dan bonus tambahan.
Additionally, the applications and websites used are not registered as PSE with the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
In relation to these findings, Satgas PASTI halted the activities of CANTVR and YUDIA and will block access to related applications and links. Satgas PASTI also says it will coordinate with law enforcement for further action.
Satgas PASTI urges the public to be vigilant against investment offers or financial activities promising high and illogical returns, especially those using the name of licensed foreign companies without clear legality in Indonesia.
