Passport summit in Paris

ROME (AFP): Magistrates and police from Italy, France,
Germany, Portugal, Britain and Spain will meet next week in Paris
to discuss the false passport affair currently rocking European
soccer, Italian paper Gazzetto dello Sport reported on Saturday.

The paper claims prosecutor Paolo Alessio Verni, a lawyer from
the northern Italian town of Udine who has been involved in
investigating the affair in Italy, is the instigator of the
meeting.
