Passengers Sit Around Idly as Crowds Build Up at Kebayoran Station on KRL Green Line
Observations at the scene on Monday (4/5/2026) at 19:40 WIB showed passengers crowding both outside and inside the station. Some stood while others sat around idly in the station area.
Meanwhile, announcements over the loudspeaker continuously informed that KRL services towards Pondok Ranji were still not operational. KRL authorities apologised for the incident.
“We inform you again that trains to Pondok Ranji are still unavailable; we apologise for the delay. While still being handled by officers, thank you for your attention,” said the staff via loudspeaker.
Some passengers chose to stay in the indoor area of the station. However, others opted for alternative modes of transport.
It is known that the KRL Green Line route, or Tanah Abang line, is still experiencing disruptions besides power outages due to lightning. The track between Kebayoran Station and Pondok Ranji is flooded due to heavy rain.

It was conveyed that KRL journeys could not yet proceed. KRL users were advised to follow instructions and information from on-site officers.
“Always prioritise safety and we apologise for the inconvenience,” wrote the KAI Commuter account.
As of 18:24 WIB, KAI Commuter stated that Rangkasbitung return services were currently operating on one track alternately. It was also explained that KRL services only went as far as Serpong.
“Train 1757D (Rangkasbitung-Tanah Abang) Journey only to Serpong Station, returning as Train 1760D (Serpong-Rangkasbitung),” wrote KAI Commuter.
