Jakarta (ANTARA) - The accommodation facilities provided at the Pulo Gebang Integrated Bus Terminal in DKI Jakarta Province for passengers during the 2026 Eid transport period have received appreciation from passengers who feel satisfied using these cheap overnight facilities.

The Pulo Gebang Integrated Bus Terminal in DKI Jakarta Province continues to demonstrate high-quality service to Eid transport users on H+8 of 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Fitr through the provision of affordable accommodation facilities.

“I can give it an A grade because all facilities are available, especially the accommodation here, which I highly recommend for long-distance returnees who can stay here, and the price is very, very cheap,” said Alfi Huda, who had just arrived by bus from Bengkulu, when met by ANTARA in the UP TPPG Cakung area, East Jakarta, on Sunday.

According to Alfi, the economical price offered by the terminal management to bus passengers staying temporarily in the accommodation, namely Rp15,000, was the reason for giving it an A grade.

The same sentiment was expressed by Fitriani Chasanah, who had also just arrived from her hometown in Banjarnegara, Central Java, and gave an A grade to the service staff, provided linearly by the terminal’s security unit (satpam), one of whom is named Juanda, described as friendly and prompt.

Fitriani, who works daily in Cakung, admitted to feeling comfortable with the availability of affordable accommodation facilities equipped with air conditioning, spring beds, and CCTV cameras.

Meanwhile, Aulia A Siddiq, who arrived on Saturday night from his wife’s hometown in Indramayu, West Java, said that the bathroom area is one of the family-friendly facilities offered by the terminal’s accommodation.

“The men’s and women’s bathroom areas are separated, and the floor is tiled and dry,” said Aulia, who admitted to bringing his child and wife to stay there.

Aulia will depart again towards Medan by bus, but he will stop his journey in Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau, because he works there.

The Commander of Squad 2 of the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Management Unit, Anwar Mansyur, said that the Eid transport users served by UP TPPG are spread across routes from and to northern Sumatra, Bali, to Bima in West Nusa Tenggara.

Danru 2 UP TPPG Anwar Mansyur said that his side will continue to improve the affordable accommodation facilities at the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal because the interest has been increasing since operations began around 2020.

Anwar said that they already have raised bedding in the entire women’s accommodation area. The plan is to make it like that in all room facilities, comprehensively.

He added that the Rp15,000 amount is the price only for the room stay. Meanwhile, an additional Rp5,000 if room guests want to bathe.

In one room, the rule is that it can only be occupied by one person. Meanwhile, married couples sleep separately for the comfort of other guests. The same applies to the rule that public facilities are smoke-free.

Accommodation is only permitted for guests staying who depart from and to the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, proven by printed or electronic bus tickets shown to staff upon room reservation.

Guests are only allowed to stay for 1 x 24 hours, with check-in time at 14:00 WIB and check-out at 12:00 WIB.
