Passenger Movement at Lombok Airport Reaches 45,000 Ahead of Eid
PT Angkasa Pura I at Lombok International Airport, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), recorded a total of 45,066 passengers, both departing and arriving, during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H homecoming period from 13-17 March 2026.
“Total passenger movement from 13-17 March 2026 consists of 25,165 arrivals and 19,901 departures, or a total of 45,066 passengers,” said Lombok Airport’s Public Relations Officer Hidya Putri Ramadhina in Central Lombok, NTB, on Wednesday.
She stated that based on updated data for the Eid 1447 H transport period at Lombok International Airport as of 15 March 2026, there are 14 requests for extra flights.
The destinations for the additional flights requested include routes such as Jakarta-Lombok, Lombok-Jakarta, and Surabaya-Lombok.
“There are three airlines requesting additional flights, namely Lion Air, Citilink, and Garuda Indonesia,” she said.
She added that based on passenger movement data on 13 March 2026, there were 4,370 arrivals and 3,359 departures, or a total of 7,729.
Then, on 14 March 2026, there were 4,935 arrivals and 4,147 departures, resulting in a total of 9,082 passengers.
On 15 March 2026, passenger movement reached 9,964 per day, consisting of 5,493 arrivals and 4,471 departures.
Subsequently, on 16 March, the number of passengers at Lombok Airport reached 9,692.
“For the predicted peak homecoming flow on 17 March, the total passengers will reach 8,599, namely 4,850 arrivals and 3,749 departures,” she said.
Previously, Lombok International Airport estimated that the peak of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H homecoming would occur on H-4 before Eid, or Tuesday (17/3/2026).
Lombok Airport General Manager Aidhil Philip Julian said that on the peak homecoming day, the projected number of passengers is 9,096.
Meanwhile, the peak return flow is estimated to occur on H+7 after Eid, or Sunday (29/3/2026), with a projection of 9,808 passengers.
In the previous year’s Eid air transport post period, Lombok Airport recorded 1,134 aircraft movements, 130,883 passengers, and 660 tons of cargo.
For Eid 2026, the projected passenger movements for the homecoming and return flows are expected to reach 136,255 passengers, an increase of 4.1%.
Meanwhile, aircraft movements this year are projected to reach 1,454 movements, an increase of 28.2%, and cargo to reach 702 tons, an increase of 6.4% compared to the previous period.
