Passenger flow still normal

SERANG, West Java (JP): The flow of ferry passengers on the
Merak port on the western tip of Java to Bakauheni port in
Lampung route is still normal, Antara reported over the weekend.

The news agency said that the 12 ferries prepared for the 1994
Christmas and the 1995 New Year holidays from Merak to Bakauheni
had the normal number of passengers while on the way back they
transported fewer passengers.

"Sharp increases in the number of passengers might happen next
Thursday," Head of the Merak Crossing Port Chidir Julianto said.
