“But this Mrs Dewi we haven’t met yet. However, we remain open to opportunities for communication,” he said.
According to him, the ballistic test will be strengthened with technical data from PT Pindad (Persero) so that the analysis results are accurate and accountable.
In addition, Pasmar 2 is also collaborating with several experts to provide independent views on bullet range and training safety aspects.
On the other hand, the legal process continues through the Naval Regional Command Military Police (Pomal Kodal), in line with Pasmar 2’s openness to legal steps from the victims’ side and a comprehensive evaluation of training procedures.
Previously, the suspected stray bullet incident occurred when students were participating in a school socialisation activity at one of the state junior high schools in Gresik, East Java, on Wednesday (17/12/2025).
There were two children who became victims of the stray bullet, namely DF (14) and RO (15).
