Paskibraka Troop Receives Rousing Applause at Independence Day Ceremony
The ‘Indonesia Berdaulat’ Heritage Flag Raising Troop (Paskibraka) received rousing applause from attendees after carrying out their duty of raising the flag at the 81st Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration Ceremony at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday (17/8).
The Paskibraka troop received applause from attendees as they completed raising the flag and marched out of the ceremony grounds, accompanied by the release of a flock of white doves.
On Monday (17/8) morning, the heritage Red and White flag-raising ceremony was held at Merdeka Palace.
In this ceremony, Prabowo served as the inspector. Meanwhile, the ceremony was led by the Commander of Military District 0733/Semarang City, Colonel Inf Priyo Handoyo.
In the main Paskibraka formation, Celina Olivia Apriani Theo, representing West Kalimantan Province, was selected as the bearer of the Red and White flag. She is a student at SMK Negeri 5 Pontianak.
Meanwhile, Eighteen Jeanette Hekboy, a Paskibraka member from East Nusa Tenggara Province who is a student at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang, was appointed as the reserve tray bearer.
The position of Group 8 Commander was entrusted to Achmad Fachri Mubarok from Jambi Province, who is currently studying at SMKN 1 Jambi City.
Then, the duty of flag hoister was assigned to I Nyoman Harya Dhanurendra Darmamukti, a Paskibraka representative from South Kalimantan Province who is studying at SMAN 7 Banjarmasin.
Along with that, M. Aryo Wira Zandhyka Y from Bengkulu Province, a student at SMAN 7 Bengkulu City, was entrusted with the task of flag unfurler.
In other formation elements, the position of Group 17 Commander was entrusted to Ahmad Raditya, a Paskibraka member from the Special Region of Yogyakarta who is a student at SMK Penerbangan AAB Adi Sucipto.
Meanwhile, the position of Paskibraka Company Commander was entrusted to Captain Mar Rachmatsah Adi Putera. He is the Commander of Rifle Company H, Infantry Battalion 9, Brigade 4 BS, Marine Corps.
Various events were held to enliven the 81st Indonesian Independence Day celebration in Jakarta, ranging from the People’s Party at Monas to the Independence Carnival that will pass through several points in the Central Jakarta area.
