Pasbata Responds to Projo Chairman Budi Arie's Statement

Pasbata Prabowo chairman David Febrian has asked that Projo chairman Budi Arie Setiadi’s statement regarding possible political dynamics before 2029 not be turned into a new polemic. According to him, Budi Arie’s statement must be read in full as a response to political dynamics that had previously emerged in the public sphere.

David said the initial context that needs to be considered is the emergence of statements about the possibility that the President of the Republic of Indonesia may not complete his term until 2029. In addition, there has been pressure for Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to resign. He instead highlighted the statement by former deputy law and human rights minister Denny Indrayana regarding Gibran.

“Do not reverse the issue. We must first look at Denny Indrayana’s statements, which I consider very reckless because he has already spoken about the possibility that President Prabowo will not serve until the end of his term and has encouraged Mas Gibran to resign,” David said in a press statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (25/8).
