Parts of Jakarta Expected to See Rain from Monday Afternoon to Evening

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast that parts of Jakarta will experience rain from Monday afternoon through to the evening.

According to information posted on the @infobmkg Instagram account, West Jakarta and Central Jakarta will be covered by thick cloud on Monday morning from 07:00 to 10:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB). Rain is expected to fall across these two areas in the afternoon from 13:00 to 16:00 WIB, with thick cloud cover returning in the evening from 19:00 to 22:00 WIB.

Meanwhile, in South Jakarta and East Jakarta, weather conditions are also forecast to be heavily overcast from 07:00 WIB. Unlike West and Central Jakarta, these two areas are expected to experience rain from 10:00 through to 16:00 WIB. Thick cloud cover is forecast to return in the evening from 19:00 to 22:00 WIB.

In North Jakarta, BMKG has forecast that rain will only fall at around 13:00 WIB, whilst the morning and afternoon through to the evening will see thick cloud cover.

Finally, in the Thousand Islands, rain is expected to fall in the morning from 07:00 to 13:00 WIB. The rain is forecast to ease and give way to thick cloud cover from 16:00 to 22:00 WIB in the area.
