Partnership Network Expanded as Hajj and Umrah Services Become More Integrated
JAKARTA — Ahlaan Group is expanding its strategic partnership network in the religious travel industry, signing memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with two Hajj and Umrah travel operators. The agreements were signed with PT Lintas Iskandaria in Jakarta on Monday (20 April 2026) and PT Samira Ali Wisata in Solo, Central Java, on Tuesday (21 April 2026).
The move forms part of Ahlaan Group’s efforts to strengthen its religious travel services ecosystem while building business synergies aimed at improving service quality for Indonesian pilgrims.
Both signings were attended by Ahlaan Group chief executive Raden Ira Widyasari and chief operating officer Fachrurrazi, who is also the company’s owner. The involvement of the senior leadership reflects Ahlaan Group’s commitment to developing long-term partnerships with operators in Indonesia’s Hajj and Umrah industry.
The first MoU was signed at PT Lintas Iskandaria’s office in Jakarta, in the presence of the company’s owner, Rayyan Luqman. The two parties agreed to explore various areas of collaboration, including business development, strengthening their networks, and exchanging experience and expertise in managing religious travel services.
A day later, Ahlaan Group continued its partnership agenda with PT Samira Ali Wisata in Solo. The signing took place at the company’s office, with Samira Travel represented by commissioner and co-founder Hj. drg. Dini Lukitasari and her husband, H. Fauzi Wahyu Muntoro.
The partnership with Samira Travel is intended to broaden business opportunities and improve services for pilgrims. The collaboration is expected to create added value for both companies by drawing on each other’s networks, experience and service capacity.
Services under both partnerships will be provided through Ahlaan Group subsidiary Ahlaan Vista Abadi Tours & Travel, making use of Ahlaan Train Haramain. One of its main services is the provision of tickets for the Haramain High-Speed Railway, which connects major cities in Saudi Arabia, including Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah.
The companies expect pilgrims using the two partners’ services to have easier, better-planned access to Haramain train tickets. The service will also offer an alternative for intercity travel, helping to ensure the smooth running of religious journeys in the Holy Land.
Ahlaan Vista Abadi was previously appointed to market Haramain train tickets in Indonesia following Ahlaan Group’s partnership with Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR). The agreements with PT Lintas Iskandaria and PT Samira Ali Wisata are a further step towards expanding use of the service through the networks of religious travel companies.
As demand grows for well-organised and efficient religious travel, intercity transport is becoming an important part of Hajj and Umrah operations. Journeys between Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah require careful planning to keep pilgrims’ movements on schedule. Easier access to the Haramain high-speed rail service is therefore expected to help travel operators organise pilgrimage itineraries more effectively.
For Hajj and Umrah operators, partnerships to provide transport services also create opportunities to improve operational coordination. Planning ticket requirements, adjusting travel schedules and informing pilgrims are all important to maintaining service quality. Synergy between businesses is expected to support these processes through more focused communication and professional service management.
