Partnering with Investment Ministry, PLN Batam Strengthens Licensing Governance

PT PLN Batam continues its commitment to strengthening corporate governance by holding a workshop on risk-based business licensing and the procedures for Investment Activity Reports (LKPM). This strategic activity was held to improve employee competence while ensuring that all corporate administrative management runs in an orderly and legally compliant manner. In its implementation, the electricity provider for Batam Island partnered with the Directorate of Business Licensing for the Non-Industrial Sector of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). This synergy is focused on consolidating licensing management through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system and fulfilling LKPM reporting obligations in accordance with the latest regulations. Through close assistance from the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, PLN Batam is optimistic about its ability to mitigate administrative risks and strengthen the structure of national regulatory compliance.
