Participation in Walk for Autism 2026 Proves Panasonic's Consistent Support for Inclusivity
Panasonic Gobel Group has once again affirmed its social commitment to inclusivity by participating in the annual humanitarian event Walk for Autism (WFA) 2026, organised by JCI Nusantara.
Director of PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, Arif Gobel, stated that Panasonic’s participation this year marks the fourth consecutive year since 2023 in supporting the event.
“Panasonic’s continuous participation in this event continues the track record of positive collaboration that has been established from year to year,” said Arif in his statement on Wednesday, 26 August 2026.
Carrying the theme #EveryStepCounts, Panasonic helped enliven the event by providing an interactive booth to support the empowerment and public awareness of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
Panasonic’s consistent presence serves as tangible evidence of its support for education, early detection, and the creation of a friendly and inclusive social environment for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
The event targeted 1,200 participants, including 200 individuals with ASD special needs. “We believe that consistency is the key to creating sustainable social change,” he said.
Arif added that Panasonic’s return to Walk for Autism this year is a concrete commitment to continue embracing and providing equal space for individuals with ASD.
“So that they can grow and become independent within society,” he said.
General Manager of Brand Communication at PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, Dedi Triono, added that to enliven WFA 2026, Panasonic presented an Interactive Booth with a variety of engaging activities. Visitors could capture moments at the Photobooth with Lumix, take part in a Content Challenge with exclusive merchandise prizes, relax at the Cool Down & Hydration Area, and try the Laundry Toss Challenge game.
The initiative to present an educational and interactive booth is expected to serve as a means of inclusive interaction between the general public, communities, and individuals with ASD in a pleasant and warm atmosphere. Through the various interactive activity zones presented at the Panasonic Booth, the company aims to create a safe, educational space that brings joy.
“This participation is part of Panasonic’s corporate social responsibility activities in the momentum of 70 Years of Gobel Serving the Nation, where we want to continue to have a positive impact and inspire the public to embrace and support children with special needs,” he said.
