Participants attending the Career Corner organised by CT Corp, part of the Jogja Financial Festival (JFF) 2026, at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC) Bantul, were described as enthusiastic about taking the tests. They had arrived since early morning, reflecting high enthusiasm and motivation to secure a job through the tests.

This was conveyed by Nanang Supriatna, Head of Human Capital at Trans Media. Nanang said the hopefuls had arrived at 06:30 WIB on Saturday (23 May 2026). ‘They were supposed to come by 7. For them to arrive at 6:30 is an effort,’ he said when met at JEC that morning.

Nanang noted that the morning arrivals reflect high motivation, which is one of the criteria used in assessments. ‘From their arrivals, they show a strong motivation to be accepted here. Arriving earlier is part of our evaluation that they have strong motivation and high enthusiasm,’ he explained.

Nanang said several CT Corp subsidiaries were advertising vacancies this time, spanning banking to media. ‘There are Bank Mega, Bank Mega Syariah, Allo Bank, Trans F&B. Then Trans TV, CNN Indonesia, CNBC Indonesia, detikcom, Trans Media Sosial,’ he added.

Nanang felt there are many top talents in Jogja and he hopes to recruit workers from Jogja. ‘We feel there are many top talents from Jogja and we hope to attract the best talent here,’ he said.

Currently, the company is still reviewing the test results online. He hopes the results meet expectations. ‘The test results are being checked online. Hopefully they match our expectations. The candidates who entered the selection are the top talents from Jogja,’ he concluded.

Today marks the second day of the Career Corner. Applicants were seen seated in evenly arranged chairs. The testing room was not noisy. Occasionally some participants interacted with others, but they appeared serious about the tests.

The job seekers used their own devices to answer the questions. The test being conducted was a psychometric test. Before answering, the participants listened seriously to instructions from staff explaining the questions. Several times, the job seekers collectively answered sample questions posed by staff.

Then they resumed using their devices. Other staff members patrolled the room to monitor the participants. Some staff helped those who were having difficulty, patiently explaining.

One participant from Wonosobo, Difana Prasatyo, said the psychometric test was different from others. ‘It was somewhat sudden; it’s not the same as other psychometric tests,’ Prasatyo said after the test. Prasatyo applied for a front-line position at Bank Mega and also pursued a role in CNBC Indonesia’s news division. Both options align with his major as a graduate of Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW). He did not want to waste the opportunity. ‘I want to seize opportunities that match my interests and career. At CNBC and Bank Mega, in the news and frontliner areas,’ he said. ‘My hope is that with this Career Corner I can grab opportunities while they’re available. If a desired opportunity arises, I will take it. I hope to secure a career that is better and aligns with my chosen path.’
