Partial One-Way Traffic System Implemented on Trans-Java Toll Road Kilometres 70-263 This Afternoon
The Head of the National Police Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) Irjen Agus Suryonugroho announced that a partial one-way traffic system will be implemented on the Trans-Java toll road this afternoon due to increased traffic flow.
“Traffic conditions, particularly on the toll road heading towards Trans-Java, have experienced considerable increases. Based on analysis and coordination with stakeholders, the Minister, and the Managing Director of PT Jasa Marga, we will implement the first phase of the partial one-way system in the national one-way zone, from Kilometre 70 to Kilometre 263,” Irjen Agus told journalists on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.
The partial one-way system is scheduled to commence at 3 PM. Pre-implementation inspections are currently underway.
“At present, we are conducting outreach activities, and then we will inspect each section of the toll road, including rest areas after clearance, so that at 3 PM we will implement the one-way system from Kilometre 70 to 263,” he said.
This implementation represents the first phase of the national one-way system scheduled for Wednesday, 18 March. The traffic management measure is expected to enable holiday travellers to reach their destinations more quickly.
“This is the first phase of the national one-way system in the designated area. Hopefully, with this traffic management measure, holiday travellers will be able to travel more quickly and smoothly towards Trans-Java,” he concluded.
