Part-Time PPPK Wages in Central Lombok Yet to Be Budgeted

The Central Lombok Regency government has disclosed the reason behind the slow payment process for part-time Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) workers. Despite their appointment as contract employees at the end of 2025, no budget has been allocated for their wages.

The Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Taufikurrahman, did not deny that funding for the wages of part-time PPPK workers within the Central Lombok Regency government remains unavailable as of now. He stated that the proposal for these wages is scheduled to be submitted in the Amended Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD-P) for 2026.

“There is no budget yet. First, the contract. It hasn’t been budgeted. Yes, the backlog system,” said Taufikurrahman to detikBali on Monday (4/5/2026) in Praya.

According to him, the delay occurred because the appointment of these part-time PPPK workers was later than the approval of the pure APBD by the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) on 30 November 2025, while the employee appointments took place in December last year. As such, he said, the Central Lombok Regency government had no authority to include the budget in the pure allocation.

“Because our planning was finalised on 30 November. Their administration wasn’t complete yet, so there was no basis for us to allocate it at that time,” he added.

According to him, the current step that can be taken is merely signing the contracts. For the wage disbursement process, it will await the budgeting in the amended APBD.

“Wages will start being paid depending on the amended APBD,” he emphasised.

He mentioned that the total budget requirement for the wages of these part-time PPPK workers amounts to Rp 16.7 billion per year. This budget covers wages, health insurance, and other components.

“From yesterday’s plan, Rp 16.7 billion. It’s substantial, because it includes not just wages but also health insurance,” he added.

This former Head of the Agriculture and Livestock Department in Central Lombok also urged the part-time PPPK workers to be patient while awaiting the discussion of the amended APBD process.
