Part-Time PPPK in Mataram Rely on Online Sales as Salaries Remain Unpaid
Reports are circulating that salaries for part-time Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) employees under the Mataram City Government (Pemkot) for March have yet to be disbursed. The salaries, which should have been paid at the beginning of the month, remain unpaid as of 26 March 2026. They are thus having to think creatively to keep their households running.
“It hasn’t come in yet,” said one part-time PPPK employee under Pemkot Mataram to detikBali on Thursday (26/3/2026).
In agreement, another part-time PPPK employee confirmed that this month’s salary has not been paid by the end of March. “I’m confused why it hasn’t entered (the account) yet; only the THR has been paid. Hopefully it can be disbursed quickly,” hoped another part-time PPPK employee.
“For daily needs, I’m using leftover THR money and proceeds from online sales. Some friends have even had to borrow money; it’s pitiful,” they added.
The Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Agency (BKD) of Mataram City, Muhamad Ramayoga, responded to the complaints from part-time PPPK employees about not receiving this month’s salaries. Ramayoga assured that Pemkot Mataram would soon resolve the administrative issues.
“It can (be paid) next week,” said Ramayoga when contacted on Thursday.
According to Ramayoga, the delay in disbursing part-time PPPK salaries depends on how quickly each Organisational Unit for Government Affairs (OPD) completes the administrative process.
“It depends on the OPDs; yesterday they might have prioritised THR, as there was a rush against time. As for us, as long as the OPDs have submitted, we process it. Insyaallah, if they submit now, we’ll disburse it soon,” emphasised Yoga.
It is known that the salaries for part-time PPPK employees of Pemkot Mataram vary. The lowest salary, equivalent to a ward-level employee, is set at Rp1.5 million per month.
