Part-Time PPPK Eid Allowance in Mataram Set at IDR 625,000; Non-Civil Servants Left Out
The Mataram City Government (Pemkot Mataram) has confirmed that part-time Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) will receive Eid Holiday Allowances (THR) of approximately IDR 625,000 for Eid 2026. This amount falls short of a full monthly salary due to the employees’ service periods not yet reaching a full year.
“For the new regulations, we calculate service duration and time in position. Based on the appointment letter, employees started work in October, so on average they will receive IDR 625,000 (not a full month’s salary). That is IDR 125,000 multiplied by five months,” said Mataram City Secretary Lalu Alwan Basri when confirmed on Monday, 16 March 2026.
The Mataram City Government employs approximately 3,067 part-time PPPK staff. The salaries they receive vary, ranging from IDR 1.5 million to IDR 1.8 million per month.
Whilst part-time PPPK staff still receive Eid allowances, although not in full, hundreds of non-civil service employees not included in the official database will certainly not receive Eid allowances this year.
“The 659 off-database employees will not receive any,” Alwan clarified.
Alwan stated that each regional government organisation (OPD) has submitted requests for salary and allowance disbursements. The Mataram City Government targets the disbursement to be completed before the Eid holiday period.
“We are working to ensure disbursement before the holiday period (so it is already paid). This is a necessity for the religious holiday; we cannot let it be delayed. We continue to monitor until today, with the final submission deadline tomorrow afternoon,” he said.
He detailed that Mataram City Government has prepared budgets for Eid allowances across various employee categories. For civil servants, approximately IDR 28 billion has been allocated; for full-time PPPK, more than IDR 7 billion; and for part-time PPPK, approximately IDR 1.3 billion.
“It is not an allowance but a performance incentive,” he concluded.
Previously, the Mataram City Government confirmed that Eid Holiday Allowances (THR) for Civil Service Apparatus (ASN) would be disbursed next week after all administrative and regulatory processes are completed.
“Hopefully it will be disbursed before the holiday period. However, it depends on the OPD to submit for disbursement. Yesterday they were gathered by the Secretary, holding a socialisation regarding the disbursement process,” said Mataram City Regional Finance Agency (BKD) Head Muhamad Ramayoga on Sunday, 15 March 2026.
Ramayoga explained that THR disbursement is only conducted for OPDs that have completed all regulatory requirements. If administrative processes are not finished, disbursement could be delayed until after Eid.
“If the OPD does not process until tomorrow Monday, then disbursement will occur after Eid. So it depends on the OPD,” he explained.
The Mataram City Government has allocated approximately IDR 41 billion for civil service Eid allowances this year. This budget has increased compared to the 2025 civil service Eid allowance, which reached IDR 20 billion.
