Part-time Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (P3K) teachers held an audience with the Serang City DPRD. They complained about their fate regarding salaries that have not yet been paid in full.

The audience was received by the Chairman of the Serang City DPRD, Muji Rohman, at the DPRD Building on Monday (27/4/2026). Also present were representatives from the Serang City Education Office, BKPSDM, BPKAD, and the Inspectorate.

Muji stated that the teachers complained because their salaries have not been paid. According to him, one of the problems is that the source of funding for part-time P3K teachers’ salaries comes from the APBD and School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds.

“I see that they have not been paid. There are some teachers who indeed have not been paid because the funding sources are two according to the regulations. The funding sources for paying part-time P3K teachers come from the APBD and BOS,” he said on Monday (27/4/2026).

According to Muji, the meeting has already yielded results. The Serang City Government will soon calculate the needs to pay approximately 320 part-time P3K teachers.

“We sat together and it was agreed earlier that the remaining payments for those who have not been paid will be calculated, how much the amount is. This has been agreed between the Serang City Government and the part-time P3K, represented by several offices earlier, that this will be paid soon with the mechanisms and regulations that have been determined,” said Muji.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Serang City Education and Culture Office, Tubagus Agus Suryadin, stated that there are around 320 part-time P3K teachers.

Agus explained that the City Government has not yet budgeted funding from the APBD. According to him, there were previously regulatory issues that have now been resolved.

“Why? Because there are indeed several clauses in the central regulations that previously were paid through BOS funds, finally it cannot (from APBD). However, yesterday there was a relaxation letter, it can be paid,” he said.

Agus mentioned that each part-time P3K teacher is paid Rp1 million to Rp1.2 million. This funding is a combination between school BOS funds and APBD.

“There are those who have not been paid for one month, there are also those for two months. The total needs to be recalculated, I’m afraid to mention the figure now,” he said.

According to him, the Serang City Education Office is currently compiling data on part-time P3K teachers. He mentioned that there are part-time P3K teachers who have transferred schools but did not report it.

“Because there are indeed some things that cannot be paid. Sometimes teachers want to move to another school without our knowledge. Well, this is what makes us confused in compiling the clarity of the schools from where,” he said.
